UBI or some variant is inevitable if we want to avoid self-destruction. Why?

"Moore's Law" continues unabated in it's march toward greater and greater substitution of machine labour, AI, IOT, etc for human labour. The logical end barring intervention would be continued migration of profit to an ever decreasing population of shareholders.

We all know where that will lead. The 2016 US Presidential Election was just the tip of the iceberg and the January 6, 2021 storming of the Capital the call from the Titanic's crow's nest.

Time for a new paradigm.

Unfortunately, neither the left or the right seem capable.
