Humans don’t do well with moral ambiguity. People on both sides of this issue are guilty of turning a blind eye to anything that does not confirm their own conclusions. But such overly simplistic positions are logically inconsistent.

By first admitting that we cannot objectively prove the exact moment when life becomes human, therefore worthy of constitutional protection we can begin to develop humility and compassion for those we disagree with.
