It seems to me that the human bias toward anthropomorphism is related to our tendency towards imaginative creativity. Being “human” is by definition, the context from which everything we create emerges.

The impact of close to exponential change stemming from the effects of “Moore’s Law” on human experience has transported us into a world where the timeline of science fiction and science fact feels inverted. The result, economic and societal disruption heightening aggregate anxiety as everything feels out of control.

From this comes the very human desire for effective leadership. Politicians have proven themselves to be increasingly ineffective.

Perhaps our shadow side sees a hero in the form of A.I.?
