I fear you are likely wrong about Trump's re-election chances. The left’s hatred for him and his “basket of deplorables” causes them to jump at any opportunity to draw him as more two-dimensional than anyone can possibly be. The effect, can be seen in the polls. As long as half of the country feels disenfranchised and discarded by the rhetoric from those in power, we will only move sideways.
