My biggest question is this.
How does the impending collapse of the supply/demand curve of human labor factor into this discussion? In a capitalist society “earned income “ is critical to create the demand for goods and services.
It seems to me that a paradigm shift is in order in order to prevent social unrest from the replacement of human labor with machine labor and AI. When machine labor can build more and better machines human labor is superfluous.
Seems like measuring the value of human labor by a paycheck is quickly becoming obsolete.
