The education system is experiencing rapid disruption from the macro effects of technology driven change. Change that is quickly rendering conventional education obsolete.

Purging the system of its elite self-serving fable that getting your children into anything less than an ivy league school is tantamount to child abuse is a critical step toward an education system appropriate for the 21st century.

Focusing on life long learning, agile retraining, apprenticeship etc. will better suit a world where the need for human labour is in decline and creativity, collaboration and inspiration are critical.
