AI and machine labor are increasingly shifting income from direct (wages to humans) to passive (increased profit to owners of technology). Without a course correction, laissez-faire economics won’t be able to prevent the social disorder emerging from the impending unemployment tsunami.

There simply won't be enough jobs for humans.

You are right to point out that only two percent of professional actors make a living practicing their trade. But if the other ninety-eight percent follow their talent and compete in a rapidly shrinking workforce many will still not succeed. What do we do with them?
